For more about working as an independent contractor through ScribeConcepts, please seeCopy editors may be assigned to:• Review content against established editorial style guidelines• Review and correct grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and other copy errors• Review content and query for clarity, consistency, and voice• Cross-check internal and external references• Conduct simple hyperlink checks• Review for design and template errors• Review content against simple accessibility requirements• Conduct discipline-specific or other speciality copyediting or reviewsCandidates should have professional experience editing educational content, especially K-8.Exceptional candidates may also have training or certification in editing, teaching, or a related field.
