Role Overview As a Reservations Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to manage all customer interactions across our digital platforms. This includes: * Responding promptly to social media comments and messages across Facebook, Instagram, Meta Messenger, and other platforms * Moderating posts and engaging with customers in a professional, brand-aligned manner * Managing live chat across multiple booking sites and Shopify chat * Handling reservation inquiries, providing accurate product/travel information, and supporting customers through the booking process * Escalating complex queries to the reservations team where required * Tracking and reporting on common inquiries to help improve customer experience Key Responsibilities * Reservations bookings for Members and assist with enquiries * Monitor and respond to inquiries across Facebook, Instagram, Meta Messenger, and other social media platforms * Moderate and engage with post comments in a professional, brand-aligned manner * Manage Live Chat across multiple booking sites and Shopify chat * Assist with chatbot setup, optimisation, and workflows to improve response times * Handle reservation inquiries, provide accurate product/travel information, and support customers through the booking process * Escalate complex queries to the reservations team where required * Track and report on common inquiries to help improve customer experience Requirements * 5+ years of experience in the Travel Industry * Expedia TAAP, Hotel Beds Experience, or Amadeus certification * Proven experience in customer service, reservations, or live chat management * Proficiency in Meta Messenger, Shopify Chat, and Live Chat platforms * Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and tone * Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat windows efficiently * Experience with chatbot setup and automation tools preferred * Availability to work full-time with flexible hours (including evenings or weekends if required) * Passion for travel and helping customers What We Offer * Full-time, long-term role with growth opportunities * Remote work flexibility * Supportive, fun, and fast-paced team environment * Be part of a growing travel company with exciting future plans * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Opportunities for professional development and career growth * Collaborative and dynamic work environment Essential Skills and Competencies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Proficiency in social media management tools and live chat platforms * Experience with chatbot setup and automation tools preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Expedia TAAP, Hotel Beds Experience, or Amadeus * Certification in customer service or reservations management * Experience with chatbot setup and automation tools * Proficiency in multiple languages Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
