Job Summary As a Retail Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences, driving sales growth, and fostering a positive store environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Assist customers in locating products, providing solutions, and offering recommendations to drive sales growth and enhance the shopping experience Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards and ensuring accurate processing of transactions Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments and promoting loyalty initiatives Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, gathering feedback, and using insights to improve the shopping experience Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), to ensure seamless integration and exceptional customer service Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, analyzing sales data, and making recommendations to drive business growth Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, developing skills and knowledge to provide expert advice and support to customers Essential Qualifications Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and management in a professional and respectful manner Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail environment, with knowledge of store operations, merchandise management, and customer service principles Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a positive store culture Basic knowledge of Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional shopping experiences and drive customer loyalty Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and management in a professional and respectful manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous mannerCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members, providing opportunities for career advancement, training, and education.As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you will have access to a range of training programs, including customer service, sales, and merchandise management.
