If you are passionate about helping others, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities Respond to customer telephone inquiries related to their utility bills, service orders, and emergency calls Process billing calls, investigate meter read and other requests relating to billing accuracy or payment Handle emergency calls and provide timely solutions to customers Process customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, and provide updates on service orders Assist customers with credit/payment arrangements and direct them to self-service channels as necessary Meet individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One year of customer service experience Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute Solid written and verbal communication skills Must be 18 years of age or older Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship Preferred Qualifications 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience 2-5 years of previous customer service work-from-home experience Utility experienceAdvanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems Ability to type 60-65 words per minute Work Environment and Requirements As aRemote Customer Service Representative, you will be working from home, but you must reside within 80 miles of one of our facilities in Ohio or Pennsylvania.You will be required to have reliable transportation to travel to our facility as necessary. You must also have a dedicated workspace with high-speed wired internet access, a smartphone, and the ability to work in a secure, private location with minimal distractions. Work-from-Home Office Requirements High-speed wired internet access (75mbps download and 15mbps upload) A dedicated workspace with proper ergonomic equipment (computer desk and chair) A smartphone to download a VPN app Availability to work from 7:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m. and attend 100% of the 13-week training programCareer Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
