Primary Duties and Responsibilities Engage in heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to address their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.Process policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all inquiries. Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and changes in the industry. Maintain department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management, consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets. Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a strong commitment to policyholder satisfaction and loyalty.Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with the requirements of the position. These include: A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred. At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience being a plus. A background in life and health insurance, as well as knowledge of insurance operations, is highly desirable. Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions, as well as demonstrated mathematical abilities and basic PC skills. Able to handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service in all interactions. Physical and Technical RequirementsThis role requires heavy phone and PC usage, with extended periods of sitting and frequent reaching above shoulder level.
