Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative to in a remote capacity, based in Houston, TX. This role is pivotal in serving as the advocate for our providers, demonstrating a high level of accountability and ownership in resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for providers, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide service to providers through multiple channels, including calls and concurrent chats, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution. Quickly and appropriately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, such as physician offices, clinics, and billing offices, to ensure prompt attention to their needs. Seek to understand and identify the needs of providers, answering questions, and resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking appropriate steps to resolve identified issues, avoid repeat calls/messages, escalations, and provider dissatisfaction. Collaborate effectively with multiple internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and thoroughly communicated to providers in a timely manner, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication. Demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills to navigate more than 30 systems, extracting necessary information to resolve and avoid issues across multiple lines of business, provider types, and call types. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions, and selling the benefits of these tools, including aiding in faster resolution and enhanced customer experience. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a foundational level of education and a commitment to personal and professional development. Must be 18 years of age or older, ensuring maturity and stability in handling complex customer service interactions. 1+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns, showcasing a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, highlighting adaptability and a willingness to embrace technological advancements. Ability to type at a speed of greater than or equal to 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%, demonstrating proficiency in keyboard skills and attention to detail. Ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week) shift between the hours of 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST from Monday - Friday, showcasing flexibility and a commitment to meeting the demands of a dynamic work environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service role, using phones and computers as primary job tools, indicating a familiarity with the tools and technologies used in the position.
