As a leader in the private industry, blithequark is committed to excellence and is looking for a highly skilled Principal Architect - IT Security to.Job Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Architect - IT Security to ensure all Enterprise-class technology solutions are implemented and maintained according to security best practices and organizational requirements. As a key member of our Network Security Risk and Compliance (CSR) division, you will be responsible for promoting, designing, and implementing processes and technology related to data security, including security analysis and Blue/Purple team activities across the entire organization.Key Responsibilities Collaborate with IT groups, Network Security Groups, and Risk Management teams to identify and prioritize risk areas, and assist in implementing suitable controls. Provide subject matter expertise to different IT groups, Network Security Groups, and Risk Management teams. Recognize and identify potential areas where existing security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones should be developed, particularly with regard to future business growth. Ensure that security policies of critical systems are properly implemented, monitored, and reported.Conduct risk assessments in new and existing technologies and provide data risk management consulting to technology teams. Evaluate and recommend security software/hardware and its application. Establish alternative security measures if necessary to support audit findings, known vulnerabilities, or disaster recovery efforts. Ensure technology teams are aware of security engineering and architecture projects that could be integrated into business solutions. Lead security investigations and provide forensic services in response to security incidents.Ensure compliance with local regulations, such as local encryption laws and security regulations. Support Risk Management team day-to-day operational tasks. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Data Security or a related field. A balanced understanding of technology, operations, and key business processes. Expertise in critically developing portable programs encompassing individual devices, managed devices, and mobile applications. Proficiency in concocting comprehensive strategies to enhance mobile security, improve device management, and mobile application guards.Experience in contributing to Strategy and Principles development as it relates to mobile security. Ability to organize reporting processes for mobile security, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards. Strong organizational change management skills. Highly adaptable and able to adjust to change. Solid problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Solid influencing and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications To stand out from the crowd, you will need: A Master's degree in Data Security or a related field.Professional certification in related technical/business areas. Certified Master Mobile SecurityProfessional (CEMP) or Credentialed Mobile Device SecurityProfessional (CMDSP).
