As a Pharmacy Resident, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, providing clinical patient care services tailored to patients with complex treatments for HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, and oncology. This residency program is academically affiliated with and financially supported by blithequark, and is situated in Worcester, MA.Key Responsibilities Clinical: Participate in required long-term rotations in community, specialty, mobile, and medication safety, and turn through different sites to achieve the objectives set out by the accreditation guidelines. Educational: Have opportunities for teaching, including small group and larger educational lectures, and act as an assistant preceptor for the community pharmacy practice laboratory. Functional/Managerial: Develop administrative skills as a pharmacist, including time with the pharmacy manager at the two locations, as well as with the Pharmacy Managers at blithequark to grasp the details of pharmacy operations.Leadership/Management: Engage in state and national pharmacy associations, attend Massachusetts Pharmacy Association meetings, and participate in regulatory projects to further the practice of pharmacy.
