Job SummaryAs a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering and updating financial data into our company databases with precision, verifying and cross-checking data for accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality and security of client information.You will also assist in preparing reports and summaries as needed and collaborate with the team to streamline data entry processes. Responsibilities* Enter and update financial data into company databases with precision, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Verify and cross-check data for accuracy, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors. * Maintain confidentiality and security of client information, adhering to blithequark's data protection policies and procedures. * Assist in preparing reports and summaries as needed, using data entry skills and knowledge of accounting software.* Collaborate with the team to streamline data entry processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions. * Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark's accounting software and systems, ensuring seamless data entry and management. Key Qualifications* Proven experience in data entry, preferably in accounting or finance, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail. * Strong typing skills and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus, but not required. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve common goals. * Proficient in bolthires Office Suite, especially Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
