As aRemote Customer Service Representative, you will provide timely, accurate, and responsive information and service to policyholders and agents for our division of Personal Lines products, plans, and programs. Your expertise will be crucial in solving problems relating to policies within your scope and escalating others as appropriate, ensuring high customer satisfaction, growth, and retention of business.Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to all inbound customer calls regarding personal lines policies, limited by line. Build rapport with each customer, listening to their requests and inquiries, and working to retain policyholders who inquire about canceling auto policies through open listening, negotiating, and policy review of customer issues. Use de-escalation tactics and, when necessary, escalate to the appropriate team, ensuring that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.Process policyholder transactions accurately and within established time standards, interpreting policy contracts to insured based on expert knowledge of personal lines auto products. Identify, understand, and interpret customer needs to implement resolutions and make recommendations for coverage enhancements, evaluating and making decisions regarding exceptions to payment plans and fees. Manage and utilize time effectively to ensure the department meets required service levels for improved customer satisfaction results, proficiently utilizing online reference materials relating to auto policies to provide confident, accurate, and efficient service.Essential Qualifications An active P&C Producers insurance license is REQUIRED, in addition to at least 2 years of actively using the license. Associates degree and 1+ year of insurance experience preferred, with 3-5 years of related customer service experience required. Ability to review, record, and organize written data from a variety of sources with no prescribed format is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of personal lines products and services. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Work EnvironmentThis is a remote/virtual role, with all equipment provided. To work from home, you must have dependable, wired internet connectivity with an upload speed of at least 5Mbps and a download speed of at least 25Mbps, along with a quiet, secure, distraction-free place to work.After onboarding and training is complete, go-forward shifts will have a start time between the hours of 8am and 10:30am EST/8-hour shifts, with one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required and an alternate day off mid-week when working the weekend.
