Job Overview The Data Entry Clerk will play a critical role in our operations, responsible for the daily input of time and production data into our Blue Chip computer system. This will involve creating production performance and incentive dollar calculations for all distribution center associates and management. The successful candidate will be required to interface daily with distribution center management and the engineering team, as well as weekly with the payroll staff. The ability to generate and distribute Control-Plus production reports to management on a daily basis is also essential. Shift Details The 3rd shift schedule is from 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday. Please note that the first month of employment will require training on the 1st shift. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17, plus a $3 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift work. Key Responsibilities Data Entry: Input time and production data for all distribution center associates into the Blue Chip computer system, including summarizing production sheets, checking for accuracy, and reporting errors. Performance Calculations: Translate DCIS data and calculate performances for each associate covered by the program, as well as calculate individual bonus dollars based on the associate's ability to perform against individual production standards. Reporting: Generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reports to distribution center management and payroll. Data Analysis: Analyze system output and troubleshoot erroneous data to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Administrative Tasks: File paperwork in accordance with established procedures and rotate files periodically for storage. Other Projects: Participate in other projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous Clerical/Administrative Experience: A background in data entry, administration, or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. 10-Key Experience: Fast and accurate 10-key skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Math Skills: Good math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Confidentiality: The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs, with occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Technical/Functional Competence: Experience with Blue Chip computer systems or similar software, with a strong understanding of technical and functional competencies. Analysis and Judgment: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Independence: The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take ownership of tasks and projects.
