Job SummaryAs a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll play a critical role in helping us make data-driven decisions that drive business growth and optimize operations. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations to inform business strategy.Responsibilities* Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions* Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges* Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs* Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks and identify outliers* Document your approaches and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter ExpertKey Requirements* 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with a strong ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity* 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on creating impactful dashboards and visualizations* Business Operations Fluency, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience (ideally)* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyPreferred Qualifications* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau* Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations* Experience with Python or other scripting languages* Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.What We Offer* Competitive salary and benefits package* Incentive awards for performance* 401(k) match, stock options, and other perks* Paid maternity and parental leave, PTO, and fitness plans* Opportunities for career growth and professional development* Collaborative and dynamic work environmentWork Environment and CultureAt blithequark, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
