The ideal candidate will be available to work a schedule that includes three days, two evenings, and Saturday mornings, and must be based remotely in one of the following states: FL, IL, IN, MO, SC, VA. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers regarding their private student loans, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls and make outbound calls as required, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with empathy and understanding. Welcome borrowers to blithequark's servicing platform, providing an overview of loan terms, status, and repayment plans, and verifying repayment terms and enrolling borrowers in AutoPay.Provide walk-throughs of the servicing website and enroll borrowers as applicable, ensuring that they are comfortable navigating the platform and utilizing its features. Update borrower demographic information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in company systems. Counsel borrowers on account management, delinquency mitigation, payment processing, and resolving billing issues, providing guidance and support to ensure that their needs are met. Resolve customer issues via one-call resolution guidelines and/or escalated processes, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.Maintain accurate records of borrower interactions and account status in company systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and readily available. Collaborate with internal teams to address borrower concerns and ensure timely resolution, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation. Comprehend training material on a variety of topics and share new concepts and content, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following education and experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required, with a strong foundation in basic skills and knowledge.Associate's degree preferred, with a focus on customer service, business, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service or financial services, preferably in loan servicing, with a proven track record of success and a strong understanding of the industry. Working knowledge of bolthires applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
