Your key responsibilities will include: Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience. Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including recommending items for sale and trade-up and/or companion items. Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays. Implementing asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. You will be responsible for engaging customers and patients, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.You will also model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and service traits. Operations In addition to delivering exceptional customer service, you will also be responsible for a range of operational tasks, including: Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested. Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records.Checks in and prices merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Completes resets and revisions as directed. Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous customer service experience in a retail environment. Knowledge of store systems and equipment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
