As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our passengers, providing assistance with baggage, resolving issues with delayed or lost items, and ensuring that every interaction is efficient, effective, and professional. Responsibilities As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for: * Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up and resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items * Utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage * Handling customer interactions with class and professionalism * Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position * Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces Basic Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following basic qualifications: * Be a local (in-state) resident * Hold a High School diploma or GED * Possess a valid In-State Driver's License * Pass a pre-employment drug screen * Pass up to a 10-year background check * Be at least 18 years of age * Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 * Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security * Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs * Be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Previous experience in customer service or a related field * Knowledge of airport operations and procedures * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits As a valued member of the blithequark team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Competitive compensation and a full benefit plan * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth * A dynamic and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * A commitment to equal opportunity employment and diversity Work Environment and Culture At blithequark, we're proud of our inclusive and supportive work environment.
