Job Summary As a Customer Experience Ambassador, you'll be the face of blithequark at our airport locations, interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Accepting, checking, and tagging customers' baggage at kiosks * Processing and completing credit card baggage transactions at kiosks * Assisting customers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing * Queuing lines in ticket counter areas * Accepting and activating customers' self-tagged baggage * Performing clearance and verification of documents at kiosks * Performing additional related duties as deemed operationally necessary by management in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement Key Responsibilities * Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is courteous, efficient, friendly, and professional * Operate kiosks to accept, check, and tag customers' baggage, as well as process credit card baggage transactions * Assist customers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience * Manage queues in ticket counter areas, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction * Accept and activate customers' self-tagged baggage, ensuring accurate and efficient processing * Perform clearance and verification of documents at kiosks, adhering to strict security protocols * Perform additional related duties as deemed operationally necessary by management, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement Essential Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred * Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the aviation or travel industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues efficiently * Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience working with kiosks or other self-service technologies * Knowledge of airport operations and security protocols * Familiarity with credit card processing and baggage handling systems * Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative) Skills and Competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
