Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with our services. As a Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, representing our brand and values in every interaction. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in navigating complex customer issues and providing timely, accurate solutions. Key Responsibilities Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy. Research account status and identify account issues, utilizing your analytical skills to resolve problems efficiently and effectively. Address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome. Process disconnection and re-connection requests, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues, providing a seamless onboarding experience for new customers. Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests, working closely with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach. Serve as a customer advocate, championing the needs and concerns of our customers while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively with our diverse customer base. Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent listening skills, allowing you to understand customer concerns and respond appropriately. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers, remaining composed and professional in high-pressure situations. Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results in every interaction. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations. Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace, with the agility to pivot when necessary and thrive in a dynamic setting. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred. Experience within the retail electricity industry, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of this sector.
