About the Role As a Customer Care & Sales Specialist at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for families navigating cremation and end-of-life services. Your primary responsibility will be to guide them with compassion, educate them on their options, and help them feel confident in their decisions. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls with empathy, professionalism, and clarity, ensuring that families feel supported and understood during a difficult time. Understand families’ needs and explain service options clearly, providing personalized guidance and care. Guide leads through a structured sales process with care and follow-up, ensuring that families receive the support they need to make informed decisions. Maintain contact via calls, texts, and emails to support decision-making and provide ongoing care and support. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service handoffs, guaranteeing that families receive seamless and comprehensive support. Track and update lead progress in internal systems and CRM tools, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data-driven decision-making. Participate in regular team check-ins and share feedback, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and growth. Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, remote environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet performance goals. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of sales, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years of experience in consumer sales, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and converting leads. Fluency in English (spoken and written), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A stable internet connection and a reliable computer setup, enabling you to work effectively in a remote environment. A clear, empathetic, and persuasive communication style, with the ability to build trust and rapport with families during a difficult time. Strong organization and comfort with tools like CRMs and VoIP, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
