Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Conversational AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy chat solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, data science, AI/ML, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing IVA/chatbots, conversational AI, or similar AI-driven systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating conversational interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and effective in resolving customer queries. Key Responsibilities Design and develop conversational AI systems using AWS services such as Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS Lambda, and AWS Connect Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop chat solutions that meet customer needs Develop and maintain large-scale conversational AI systems with high availability, scalability, and performance Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization of chat solutions to ensure seamless user experience Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in conversational AI, NLP, and ML, and apply this knowledge to improve chat solutions Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and adhere to best practices and standards Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field 3+ years of experience in developing IVA/chatbots, conversational AI, or similar AI-driven systems using AWS services Expertise in using Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS Lambda, and AWS Connect Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ Experience with cloud-based platforms, particularly AWS Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions Preferred Qualifications AWS Bedrock experience with SageMaker will be considered an added advantage Experience with NLP, ML, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
