Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Experienced Concierge Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers in a timely and professional manner, adhering to defined service standards* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers* Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions, providing clear and concise information to ensure their needs are met* Documenting all calls received in system-based call log, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records* Performing other duties or responsibilities as assigned, which may not be listed in this job descriptionRequirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:* A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for 2 years or higher education* At least one year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in a healthcare-related field* Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is highly desirable* Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus* Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact* Proficiency in bolthires applications, with strong computer skills and navigation* Excellent data entry and typing skills* Knowledge of provider organizations and networks* Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates* Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures* Strong analytical and research skills* Medical terminology knowledge* Strong attention to detail* Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers* Independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving* Ability to multi-task and anticipate potential needs/problemsPreferred Qualifications* Experience in claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification* Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits* Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience* Strong analytical and research skillsWork Environment and Physical DemandsThis position is in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer.You will need hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems. Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
