By developing and implementing advanced technologies, we rapidly identify defects, associate them with the necessary information to resolve root causes, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on business and customer needs. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving this mission forward, working closely with cross-functional teams including Software Developers, Data Engineers, Research Scientists, Economists, Program & Product Managers.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to support business decision-making. Collaborate with operations, business teams, economists, and machine learning teams to develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), automated reporting and process solutions, and data infrastructure improvements that meet business needs. Develop end-to-end automation of pipelines for applications and machine learning models, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.Apply advanced analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and learnings from complex and large data sets, driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data with technologies such as Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar platforms. Strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab. Proficiency in using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling. Ability to write complex SQL queries. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with blithequark Web Services (AWS) solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.Background in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
