We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Early-Career Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.Job Description:As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and systems that integrate Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SAP ECC. You will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility for business intelligence and reporting purposes.Key Responsibilities:• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.• Support the integration of data from SAP ECC into Power BI for reporting and analysis.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure seamless data processing.• Participate in designing and implementing data models and schemas.• Assist in creating dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision making.• Document data processes and workflows for future reference and training.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and principles.• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SAP ECC.• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.Preferred Qualifications:• Internship or project experience in data engineering or related fields.• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Why Join Siemens?Benefits start on day one.
