responsibilities will include: Creating Engaging Online Classes: Design and deliver high-quality, interactive classes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students Building Relationships with Students and Parents: Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and the Outschool community through prompt, professional communication Teaching and Facilitating Learning: Use your expertise and passion to teach and facilitate learning in a supportive and inclusive online environment Assessing Student Progress: Monitor student progress and adjust your teaching approach as needed to ensure student success Maintaining a Safe and Respectful Learning Environment: Adhere to Outschool's community standards and class content policy to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment Requirements and Qualifications To become an Early Childhood Educator with Outschool, you'll need to meet the following requirements: Age and Residency: You must be at least 18 years old and reside full-time in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, or the United Kingdom Expertise and Passion: You must have one or more areas of expertise or passion that you'll base your classes around Technical Requirements: You must have a reliable and fast internet connection (over 3Mbps upload and download), technical know-how to effectively run online classes, and a good command of written and spoken English Background Check: You must verify your identity and pass a criminal background check Community Standards: You must meet Outschool's community standards, including prompt, professional communication with families and the Outschool team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Early Childhood EducationExperience: Experience working with young children (ages 3-8) in an educational setting Teaching Certification: A teaching certification or degree in early childhood education Special EducationExperience: Experience working with students with special needs Skills and Competencies To succeed as an Early Childhood Educator with Outschool, you'll need: Excellent Communication
