Deposit Operations Representative - Fully Remote

The company intends to have a blend of onsite and remote presence for the foreseeable future. OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Representative to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing various operational tasks related to financial services. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial sales, customer relationship management, and fraud prevention, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Responsibilities• ACH Exception Handling: Review and resolve ACH exceptions including returns, NOCs, and unauthorized transactions in accordance with NACHA rules and internal procedures.• Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) Review: Monitor and validate remote deposit submissions for accuracy, fraud prevention, and compliance with deposit limits and policies. • Share Draft Exception Review: Investigate and process share draft exceptions such as encoding errors, duplicate postings, and unauthorized items. • Member Inquiries: Respond to member inquiries related to deposit transactions, payment issues, and account research with professionalism and accuracy. • Escheating Accounts: Identify and process dormant accounts for escheatment in accordance with state regulations and organizational policy.• Levies and Legal Orders: Process levies, garnishments, and other legal orders, ensuring timely and compliant handling of member accounts. • Statement and Check Copy Research: Fulfill requests for account statements and check copies, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all actions taken, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Member Services, Risk, and Compliance to resolve issues and improve processes.Qualifications• Previous experience in banking or financial services is preferred. • Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles. • Basic math skills are essential; familiarity with retail math is a plus. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced/ multitenant environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers effectively. • Familiarity with financial software applications is advantageous.as an Operations Representative and contribute to providing outstanding service while enhancing your skills in the financial sector.
