Customer Service Representative (Beauty Industry)Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ETLocation: RemoteAbout the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team inthe beauty industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, has akeen understanding of beauty products, and is skilled at handling inquiries efficiently and empathetically. This role requires someone who can communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining our brand’s voiceand values.You’ll be assisting customers via email, chat, and social media, resolving issues, processing orders ifneeded, and ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression. Key Responsibilities● Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and all website online chat. ● Provide accurate information about products, orders, shipping, and returns. ● Manage and resolve customer concerns with empathy and efficiency. ● Process exchanges, refunds, and replacements through Shopify. ● Track and follow up on open customer cases to ensure timely resolution.● Collaborate with the fulfillment and marketing teams to communicate updates or issues. ● Maintain detailed records of customer interactions using Gorgias. ● Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to improve products and processes. ● Uphold the brand’s tone and voice across all communication channels. Qualifications & Requirements● Must have 1–3 years of customer service experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry. ● Experience with Shopify (for order management) and Gorgias (or a similar customer support platform) isstrongly preferred.● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. ● Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. ● Empathetic, patient, and solution-oriented when dealing with customers. ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. ● Reliable internet connection and availability during 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET. Preferred Skills● Knowledge of e-commerce operations and fulfillment processes. ● Familiarity with beauty products, skincare, or makeup trends. ● Experience with social media customer engagement.● Basic understanding of CRM tools and e-commerce workflows.
