Cargo Coordinator
Polar Field Services supports scientific research in the world's most remote environments with safe, reliable logistics. at Summit Station, Greenland to keep critical science moving. You'll manage the flow of supplies and equipment to/from a remote Arctic observation site. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with the Kangerlussuaq cargo team • Organize, distribute, palletize, and document cargo • Lead aircrews during offload/onload operations • Uphold safety protocols and regulations • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • 3+ years in remote/field environments • 1+ year in aircraft cargo operations • Valid U.S. passport Preferred • 2+ years planning remote cargo/supply movements • Aircraft load planning & hazmat transport knowledge • Prior polar/remote logistics experience • HazMat certification (e.g., 49 CFR, IATA DGR, AFMAN) Skills • Strong communication, organization, time management • Detail-oriented, adaptable problem-solver • Leadership and team coordination Schedule & Compensation • Deployment to Summit Station, Greenland • Typical rotations: Apr–Jun and Jun–Aug • Minimum 54 hours/week • $1,500–$1,900 per week + Pro Deal Program • A rare chance to experience the Arctic while supporting vital research Submit your resume and availability via our careers portal.
