Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Technical Specialist - Datacom to provide technical support for our customer support team.As a Technical Specialist - Datacom, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to video, audio, and interactive systems across bolthires properties. You'll work closely with our customers, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services. Key Responsibilities• Provide technical support for bolthires's customer support team, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to video, audio, and interactive systems• Conduct on-site support for interactive installations, server upgrades, video installations, emergency maintenance, and outage resolution• Provide local support to clients and ensure operational support of the experience environment to maintain SLAs and bolthires standards• Prepare and present metrics on uptime, usage, trends, and opportunities for improvement• Ensure telecom network maintains software and security patches• Manage replacement and backup parts for all installations• Offer level 2 support to resolve complex technical issues• Collaborate with Resort Engineering Team, FAM, OSI, and WDI to ensure smooth delivery of products and services• Assist with software patches and updates• Provide oversight of local delivery of consumables by vendors• Team up with other DPEP teams and service providers to provide efficient technical solutions• Oversee device refresh and recycling programs• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting with field specialists• Manage vendor relationshipsRequirementsEssential Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Video Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline• 3+ years of experience in the AV/Technology industry, preferably in a technical support role• 3+ years of experience with network switching and routing• Strong knowledge of bolthires Office, SAP Workplace, and Service NOW• Strong understanding of various video and audio merchant applications (Sonify, QSC, Crestron, IOT, Synamedia, Genetec, SevOne, Forward Enterprises, Splunk, Zabbix, Infoblox, etc.)• Proven ability to handle escalations and outages• Strong knowledge of network security principles and industry best practices• Experience with analytics and reporting tools like Scene, Power BI• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Willingness to learn new software applications• Ability to work on weekends and evenings as required by client and business needsPreferred Qualifications• Experience with video distribution, encoding, audio mixes, and IOT devices• Moderate experience with network switching and routing• Passion for and knowledge of interactive and video systems and solutions• Proven success working with a range of partnersCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt bolthires, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a Technical Specialist - Datacom, you'll have access to various training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance your technical skills and career prospects.
