ROI Data Entry Administrator
TheRemote Solutions ROI Data Entry Administrator's primary responsibilities will be to properly log incoming requests into ROI online utilizing key data fields. Depending on the type of logging, the user will be manually logging each request with all fields OR verifying fields generated by an Artificial Intelligence bot to ensure accuracy, abide by facility specific/HIPAA guidelines, and check for duplicate requests for all requests logged. As well as splitting multiple medical records requests into individual requests and retrieves electronic documents from client databases, logging pertinent information as well as transferring electronic document images into the ROI-log proprietary database.The hourly rate of pay for this position is $16. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Use electronic data system to process information. • Ensure timely entry of client requests to prevent backlog. • Communicate with team members and department leadership as needed to resolve issues. • Review and apply HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Validates requests and authorizations for release of medical information according to established procedures and HIPAA guidelines.• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and obtaining pertinent patient data from various sources, including electronic, off-site, or physical records that match patient request. • Maintains working knowledge of the current state laws and HIPAA regulations as well as facility policies and procedures in regard to release of information referencing facility specific guidelines• Works within scope of position and direction; willingly accepts assignments and is available to take on additional tasks, facilities or assist with ROI backlogs and other ROI functions as needed.• Must properly clock hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in hours tracking software daily. • Must be available during scheduled hours, dedicated to MRO work alignment in a distraction free and uninterrupted environment. • Must adhere to productivity standards for each client’s work is assigned meeting minimum requirements. SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:• High School diploma or equivalent required. • College course beneficial but not required• Proficient computer skills. Accurate data entry skills.• Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments. • Experience retrieving information from computer database is helpful. • Proficient utilizing a computer and navigating technology issues. • Dependable, good organizational skills, good communication skills and attention to detail. • Positive teamwork-oriented attitude. • This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions.
