Job Summary:TheRemote Oncology Triage Nurse provides telephonic triage services, assessing patient needs and collaborating with qualified staff to ensure appropriate care.This role involves documenting all care elements in the patient's medical record and accurately identifying high-risk conditions, providing patient education and directing additional care to appropriate resources if necessary. Under general supervision, the nurse delivers professional nursing care adhering to national and organizational standards and guidelines, as well as state licensing board scope of practice. The candidate must recognize the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of patient care and participate in company-wide quality initiatives.This pivotal role supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, to ensure patients receive timely and expert guidance, enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
