[Remote] Remote Senior Estimator/Estimator (Structural/Misc Steel)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novax Recruitment Group is seeking aSenior Estimator/Estimator specializing in Structural and Miscellaneous Steel. The role involves estimating project costs based on customer documents and drawings, ensuring accurate material and labor bolthires estimations to meet project requirements. Responsibilities• Perform lump sum “Takeoff” of material, labor, and vendor costs using design drawings and specifications. • Communicate with General Contractors to clarify project requirements and timelines.• Request and manage vendor quotes for materials and services. • Review project specifications to ensure full scope coverage in estimates. • Provide the estimating manager with a detailed Scope of Work, inclusions/exclusions, and qualifications for proposal submission. • Track bid progress and follow up with contractors on bid awards.
