Job descriptionWe are currently seeking a numbers/data/excel savvy candidate to as a full time Project Associate to support our West Hempstead Office based team. Recovery Department you will assist and work with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals and billing professionals to help ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to.Job Duties to include but not limited to:Project associate related duties including but not limited to:Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systemsGenerating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits. extracting/entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systemsMaking Phone Calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patientsRunning and Creating reportsAssisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by recovery teamScanning and indexing of documentsApply tot his job
