We’re looking to add a Legal Nurse Consultant to our growing team.Job DescriptionThe Legal Nurse Consultant acts as an expert clinical and educational resource to clients by providing real-time advice on their cases but mainly intaking the details of their complex medical litigation.What you’ll do:• Conduct real-time intakes with attorney-clients on medical malpractice and personal injury cases so our Expert Search team can use the information to research and identify the best expert witnesses• Review medical records to concisely summarize fact patterns for use in expert witness outreach by our Expert Search team• Assist researchers on our Expert Search team by reviewing expert feedback to cases and helping to determine expertise fit for medical malpractice and personal injury cases• Provide consultative customer service to attorney-clients on phone and video case intakes and collaborate with our customer success, sales, and advisory teams to ensure client satisfaction.Qualifications• Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner• 1-2+ years of experience working with a law firm or experience doing Legal Nurse Consulting preferred but not required• Strong clinical knowledge - 5+ years of clinical experience working in a hospital setting preferred but not required• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Teamwork and collaboration required, display of a customer-centric and solutions-oriented attitude• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with set performance metrics/goalsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
