Position Description:
The Sr. Solution Engineer (ServiceNow/Armis) supports hands-on deployment, configuration, integration, and operationalization of Armis for enterprise clients. This role will work directly with client security, infrastructure, OT, risk, and ServiceNow teams to design Armis deployment architectures, deploy collectors, validate asset discovery, tune classifications and dashboards, integrate Armis data into enterprise workflows, and help clients turn asset visibility into measurable risk reduction. This is a technical, client-facing delivery role. The right candidate can move comfortably between network diagrams, implementation tasks, executive use cases, troubleshooting sessions, and operational handoff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Configuration of Armis solutions within ServiceNow platform
Support user provisioning and access certification processes
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow Modules and third-party tools
Enhance automation and orchestration workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer and Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR)
Develop scripts, custom applications and workflow automation within ServiceNow to extend IRM and SecOps capabilities
Map Armis asset intelligence into ServiceNow data models, CI classes, ownership models, reconciliation patterns, and risk workflows
Assist in conducting client stakeholder workshops, participate in requirements gathering and documentation
Develop governance processes for human and non-human identities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionalities and integrations
Assist in creating and conducting product demos to stakeholders for the purpose of client discovery and or product training efforts
Establish trusted client relationships and advise clients on their business needs
Configure authorization visibility dashboards and access analytics reporting
Configure Armis platform settings, asset classifications, dashboards, reports, policies, alerting logic, exposure views, and use-case-specific workflows
Validate that Armis deployments align to client business outcomes, such as asset visibility, CMDB enrichment, OT visibility, vulnerability prioritization, incident response readiness, cyber insurance support, and audit evidence. Develop direct system testing and validation procedures and documentation
Develop test plans to address specifications and requirements
Conduct testing and support deployment of identity security solutions
Assist Templar Shield clients with developing, implementing, and strengthening identity security programs
Participate in the installation, implementation, configuration, and support of ServiceNow system components
Comply with established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and or Agile method for design and development of various solutions on the identity security platform to ensure all efforts are coordinated and controlled
Assist in soliciting and managing to completion feedback from requestors on quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of ServiceNow implementations against business and functional requirements
Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and updates to the ServiceNow platform as well as identity security modules
Research and evaluate available identity security platforms to meet customer requirements
Support internal sales and client account teams in identifying new business opportunities
Support in the creation of proposals, effort, and cost estimates and submit responses to Request for Proposals (RFP's)
Assist in sales pursuits and proposals and assist growing Templar Shield practice areas
Work closely with dispersed resources throughout multiple cities and countries
Participate in development of training curriculum and course content
Travel as needed based on the project and business development requirements
Requirements
3 years of experience in implementation engineering, professional services, cybersecurity consulting, security engineering, network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technical delivery roles
Minimum of 1 year of experience in ServiceNow (preferably CSA) and/or Armis
Hands-on experience deploying or supporting enterprise cybersecurity, asset management, vulnerability management, network security, or security operations platforms.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls, proxies, SPAN/TAP concepts, segmentation, and network troubleshooting.
Experience working with medium to large enterprise environments, including distributed networks, regulated environments, or complex multi-site deployments.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, endpoint security, SIEM, SOAR, NAC, firewalls, incident response, and asset management processes.
Experience with APIs, JSON, REST integrations, authentication, certificates, SSL/TLS, and basic scripting or automation.
Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple client workstreams, document decisions, drive tasks to closure, and work effectively in a consulting environment. Strong collaboration skills when working with technical teams and client stakeholders
Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
Willing to travel up to 50%, per client needs
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Hands-on experience with Armis, especially Armis Centrix, Armis asset intelligence, collector deployment, policy configuration, dashboards, vulnerability/exposure workflows, or ServiceNow integrations
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Service Graph Connectors, ITSM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Integrated Risk Management, ITOM, or CSDM. Basic scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell
Experience with OT, IoT, IoMT, healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, energy, transportation, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure environments
Understanding of CMDB data quality, CI reconciliation, asset normalization, ownership models, and operational governance
Experience supporting regulated environments with change control, audit requirements, security documentation, and operational constraints
Professional certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GICSP, CCNA, CCNP, ServiceNow CIS, ServiceNow CAD, ServiceNow SecOps, ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, or similar credentials
Familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts
Exposure to ServiceNow IRM/SecOps
