About the opportunity Help modernize and scale the workflow platform behind Dayforce. We’re looking for a Software Developer II to join the Dayforce Platform Extensibility team and contribute to the evolution of one of the most critical systems in Dayforce: Workflow. Our mission is to build scalable, extensible platform capabilities that reduce duplication and enable teams to move faster. At the heart of what we build is the Dayforce Workflow platform — a scalable, rule-based workflow orchestration engine powering employee lifecycle processes across a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by millions globally. We’re evolving Workflow into a reusable platform service with extensible APIs that support workflow capabilities across multiple Dayforce domains. As part of that evolution, we’re also investing in AI-enabled orchestration and intelligent automation experiences integrated directly into the platform. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving backend and platform engineering challenges, building scalable systems, and growing their technical depth within large-scale enterprise software. This is a full-stack role with a strong backend focus, where much of the work involves distributed systems, backend services, APIs, scalability, and platform engineering. What you'll get to do
