Senior VMware Aria Dashboard Engineer (VMware Cloud Foundation 9 Preferred)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior VMware Aria Dashboard Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reporting, and observability solutions across VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. This role will focus on delivering actionable operational insights using the VMware Aria Suite while partnering with infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams to improve visibility, performance, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with VMware Aria Operations, dashboard development, custom reporting, metrics analysis, and automation. Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop operational dashboards using VMware Aria Operations.
• Create executive, engineering, and operations dashboards tailored to different stakeholder needs.
• Build custom reports, scorecards, and KPI visualizations.
• Configure super metrics, symptom definitions, alerts, policies, and custom views.
• Integrate monitoring data across vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VMware Cloud Foundation, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Develop capacity planning, performance, health, and compliance dashboards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform engineering teams to identify operational improvements.
• Optimize Aria Operations content, collections, and dashboard performance.
• Develop automation to streamline dashboard deployment and configuration.
• Document dashboard standards, operational procedures, and reporting best practices.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience administering VMware enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience with VMware Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations).
• Strong experience creating custom dashboards and reports.

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 (preferred).
• Experience with VMware Aria Operations for Logs.
• Experience with VMware Aria Automation.
• Experience monitoring VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) or Tanzu Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• VMware certifications (VCP-VCF, VCAP, or related certifications).
