Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GS2 | B Corp™ is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Vice President, Project Management in the renewable energy sector. The role involves overseeing the execution strategy for a multi-gigawatt pipeline of utility-scale solar and BESS projects, while leading a team and managing contracts and risks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) lifecycle for a diverse, multi-regional utility-scale portfolio
- Build, mentor, and scale a world-class team of Project Directors, PMs, and Construction Managers, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence
- Lead high-value negotiations for major equipment supply agreements (modules, inverters, trackers) and EPC contracts, minimizing risk while optimizing capex
- Serve as the critical bridge between Development, Structured Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure seamless project handoffs and on-time COD
- Implement cutting-edge project management methodologies and digital tools to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and margin preservation
Skills
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in utility-scale energy infrastructure, with a proven history of successfully delivering up to 1GW of solar/storage projects
- An exceptional communicator capable of commanding a boardroom, negotiating with tier-1 contractors, and inspiring field teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field is required
- An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable
