Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ARK Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tester/QA Analyst with a strong understanding of software testing and payroll systems. The successful candidate will ensure quality software solutions that meet specified requirements and reduce the risk of errors and customer dissatisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Interact with developers and stakeholders to define and execute system integration tests for a complex payroll application
- Review user requirements and develop test plans
- Transform test plans into test scripts and ensure proper execution
- Analyze test results and make recommendations
- Ensure compliance with US Government Client Technology Solution Life Cycle (TSLC) standards
- Conduct functional testing, including smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the software development cycle and testing methodologies
- Proficient in manual testing and incorporating automated testing processes
- Payroll domain knowledge, including cycles, tax calculations, deductions, and benefits
- Experience with AI-driven tools for generating test scripts
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- 2-5 years of experience in technology or software development
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manual and automated testing
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and Agile Scrum
- Experience with VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software
- Understanding of SDLC practices and PLSQL
- Experience with payroll systems and processing
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools for code analysis and pattern recognition
- Mainframe knowledge is strongly preferred
