They are seeking a Supervisory Analyst to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of equity research reports, collaborating closely with research analysts and maintaining high standards in research governance.
Responsibilities
- Review, approve, and oversee equity research reports and related publications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory and firm standards
- Verifying sources and data
- Assessing analytical frameworks
- Ensuring balanced and objective investment views
- Monitoring adherence to disclosure, conflicts, and compliance policies
- Collaborate with research analysts
- Providing guidance on report structure and messaging
- Supporting continuous improvement of research quality and processes
- Maintaining documentation
- Contributing to best practices in research governance and editorial oversight
Skills
- Strong equity research and capital markets knowledge, particularly in technology with proven ability to assess complex investment analyses
- Experience in supervisory analyst functions, editorial review, or research oversight within a broker-dealer, independent research firm, or institutional investment environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to equity research (e.g., conflicts of interest, disclosures, research independence, and compliance policies)
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to edit for clarity, consistency, and rigor while maintaining the author's analytical intent
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and sound judgment in evaluating data, assumptions, and investment conclusions
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate across time zones with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- Current holder of Series 16 license
- Advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is advantageous
- Prior experience working with institutional investors or serving institutional clients is a plus
