The Senior Technical Project Manager will develop and execute project plans, ensuring quality and stakeholder alignment to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and milestones
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables
- Lead project teams in the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Monitor and control project variables, such as scope, budget, and risks
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues
- Proactively address and resolve challenges to keep projects on track
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed within specified timelines
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize resource utilization
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within approved financial constraints
- Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and other relevant documentation
- Ensure documentation is accessible and organized for reference
- Effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Communicate changes to stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- Ten or more years' experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Information Services or IT projects is required
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
