Eames Consulting is looking for a Product Design Engineer who combines exceptional product thinking, UX design, and front-end engineering into one craft. The role involves owning features from idea to implementation, working closely with product managers and engineers to build products that customers love.
Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle—from discovery and user research to design, development, launch, and iteration
- Design intuitive, elegant experiences for complex workflows and data-rich applications
- Build production-ready front-end applications using modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar)
- Prototype quickly, validate ideas with users, and iterate based on feedback
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define product direction and prioritize high-impact work
- Use AI tools throughout the product development lifecycle to accelerate research, design, coding, testing, and documentation
- Build reusable components and contribute to a scalable design system
- Deliver high-quality interfaces with a strong focus on accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and usability
- Continuously improve the product through experimentation, analytics, and customer feedback
Skills
- Experience designing and building production web applications
- Strong product intuition with the ability to identify problems worth solving
- Excellent visual design, interaction design, and UX skills
- Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript (or equivalent)
- Experience working closely with users to validate ideas and improve products
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools while applying sound engineering and product judgment
- Passion for building thoughtful, high-quality user experiences from concept through launch
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Experience designing enterprise or data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with AI-powered products, LLMs, or agent-based workflows
- Experience with analytics, experimentation, and product metrics
