[Remote] Mechanical Designer II

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HFA is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to work on retail and large commercial projects. The role involves developing HVAC and plumbing systems, creating construction documents, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in retail and large commercial projects, developing HVAC and plumbing systems and coordinating construction documents
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Trane Trace, with knowledge of IMC, IPC, ASHRAE, and energy codes
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver high-quality designs, construction documents, and construction administration support
• Perform HVAC system design, equipment selection, energy calculations, quality control reviews, and project coordination with minimal supervision
