Crawford Group is seeking an experienced Event Strategy & Operations Lead to drive the strategy, operational framework, and execution model for a virtual event engagement program for a high technology client. The role involves program leadership, event experience design, and operational management to ensure successful program execution and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client-facing lead and strategic advisor
- Develop and manage the overall program strategy, governance model, and operating framework
- Align stakeholders around program objectives, success metrics, and execution priorities
- Lead and coordinate event professionals and supporting resources to ensure successful program execution
- Conduct regular team check-ins to track deliverables, resolve issues, and maintain program alignment
- Support onboarding and integration of new team members into program processes, tools and operating procedures in partnership with the Sr. Account Director
- Align program KPIs and measurement frameworks to track performance and business impact
- Create and maintain program timelines, milestones, and execution plans
- Drive knowledge sharing, documentation, and cross-functional readiness to ensure business continuity
- Review and synthesize provided use cases, verticals, personas, interests, and messaging frameworks
- Design scalable engagement models and partner-focused experiences that can scale across multiple verticals and use cases
- Ensure alignment between audience needs, partner priorities, and business objectives
- Track registration, attendance, engagement, and campaign performance metrics
- Define and document end-to-end event workflows and operational processes
- Establish roles, responsibilities, and governance structures across stakeholders and delivery teams
- Assess current workflows, including: Deal and campaign creation and tracking, Invitations and attendee communications, Event follow-up processes, Meeting scheduling and booking workflows, Partner contribution tracking, Manage cross-functional execution across marketing, operations, content, and stakeholder teams
- Manage co-branded campaign assets including: Registration page banners, Email banners, Promotional graphics, Personalized attendee resources and reports
- Evaluate and finalize martech stack to be used for the supporting the program
- Access workflow integration across tools including: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, MSX, Power BI, Partner Center tools, Project Management platforms, Develop, launch and manage a centralized Resource Center vision and supporting assets
- Co-define program success metrics and reporting requirements
- Develop KPI dashboards and tracking methodologies
- Monitor program performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Deliver executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations
Skills
- 7+ years of event strategy, operations, and program management experience
- Experience leading B2B enterprise technology event programs and stakeholder ecosystems
- Strong understanding of virtual and hybrid event formats
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience creating governance models, workflows, and operational frameworks
- Familiarity with Microsoft collaboration and reporting tools
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
