Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NetAlly is a company focused on creating content for network technicians. The Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging video and case study content that resonates with technicians, building a personality-driven online presence, and developing relationships within the networking community.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video: field demos, troubleshooting walk-throughs, Ally Intelligence in action, “day in the life of a network tech” style content
- Own the case study pipeline end to end: identify candidate customers, conduct interviews, and turn raw stories into polished written and video case studies
- Build and run a personality-driven content presence aimed at working network technicians — the channels and tone should feel native to where that audience already spends time (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, technician forums), not repurposed corporate content
- Develop relationships with networking influencers, YouTubers, and respected voices in the field/IT technician community; manage any creator partnerships or sponsorships
- Partner with the existing Designer/Social hire so static creative and video/influencer content feel like one coherent voice, not two disconnected efforts
- Bring genuine networking subject-matter expertise to content decisions — know enough about real troubleshooting work to spot a good story and ask the right follow-up questions in an interview
- Track content performance (views, engagement, follower growth, and downstream influence on pipeline/awareness) and iterate based on what actually resonates with this audience
Skills
- 3+ years hands-on Marketo administration (certification a strong plus, not required)
- Demonstrated experience building lead scoring models and engagement programs from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
- Real, hands-on networking knowledge — you don't need to have been a network engineer, but you need to understand the work well enough that practitioners don't sniff out a fraud in the first ten seconds
- A demonstrated passion for both the craft of networking and the craft of content — we're looking for someone who'd be doing some version of this even if it weren't a job
- Video production skills: shooting and editing short-form and long-form content; comfortable being on camera or directing someone who is
- Experience building or growing a social/video following, ideally in a technical, trades, or enthusiast community — personal portfolio or channel strongly preferred over agency-only experience
- Comfortable interviewing customers and technicians and turning a rambling conversation into a tight, compelling story
- A point of view. We'd rather see one polarizing, well-produced video than ten safe ones
