Centrus Energy Corp. is a leader in quality management systems, and they are seeking a Senior Program Manager for Quality Integration. This role involves providing strategic leadership, driving quality strategy, and ensuring compliance across engineering and manufacturing functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the Quality Integration organization, ensuring the right people, skills, and resources are in place
- Advise senior leadership on quality risks, systemic issues, and organizational readiness
- Mentor teams in auditing, systems engineering, and continuous improvement
- Shape long‑term QMS strategy and guide decisions that influence site‑wide performance and manufacturing capability
- Ensure process standards, controls, and quality systems are consistent, scalable, and compliant
- Lead enterprise‑level corrective actions and improvement initiatives
- Translate audit and assessment outcomes into sustainable organizational improvements
- Maintain objective oversight of QMS health and performance trends
- Identify and communicate systemic risks; develop mitigation strategies and improvement plans
- Validate that corrective actions truly address root causes and prevent recurrence
- Oversee CI infrastructure, training programs, and improvement methodologies (Lean, PDCA, Kata)
- Partner with digital/data teams to develop dashboards and analytics that support transparent, data‑driven decision‑making
- Lead enterprise change‑management efforts to ensure QMS updates and process improvements are fully embedded
- Support compliance with DOE, NRC, NQA‑1, ISO, and other regulatory expectations
- Represent the organization during audits and readiness reviews
- Uphold a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous learning, including exercising independent stop‑work authority when necessary
Skills
- The ability to obtain/maintain a US Department of Energy (DOE) / NRC “Q" Clearance one year from hire date
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or equivalent technical discipline
- 3 years of nuclear (ASME NQA‑1) experience
- 10 years of quality or systems engineering experience leading audits, assessments, continuous improvement initiatives, or system‑/process‑level reviews
- 5 years of management or program management experience within quality, systems engineering, or continuous improvement function
- 3 additional years of senior management or senior program management experience within a quality, systems engineering, or continuous improvement function
- Master's degree in engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Demonstrated success leading multi-year, enterprise-wide change initiatives with measurable impact on quality, compliance, and production readiness
