Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage phone systems to assist with reservations, inquiries, and guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance guest relations.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
