Job Overview:
We're seeking a highly motivated and energetic Meter Reader Technician to join our team at Workwarp. As a Meter Reader Technician, you will play a key role in collecting data from commercial and residential properties, updating meter reads accurately, and representing our company as an ambassador. If you enjoy working outdoors, are self-motivated, and have excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data from commercial and residential properties, updating meter reads accurately on a handheld device
- Represent our company as an ambassador, providing excellent customer service to every property visited
- Plan and manage your daily route, working independently and efficiently
- Ensure your own and customers' safety at all times
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (not required in London)
- Customer Service experience (no minimum requirement)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently, with drive and motivation
- Capability to work quickly and efficiently, with a flexible approach to tasks and working
- Friendly personality with a professional approach to work
- Ability to walk for several miles every day
- Must be able to pass our screening and vetting standards, provide 5 years employment history, and pass a DBS check
