Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Data Analyst and Digital Products Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Analyst, Ecommerce Analytics, you will support the arenaflex website and mobile applications' strategic projects by providing ongoing reporting and analysis leveraging all web and app metrics and errors analysis data to provide transparency and optimize our digital platforms. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting all Ecommerce digital platforms by generating standard deliverables, providing insights, and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Translate data into actionable insights to drive growth across eCommerce, Acquisition, and Retention.
- Translate data into readily interpretable formats (such as dashboards, management reports) that can impact key business decisions and prioritization within the Product Organization.
- Leverage a variety of reporting tools and syndicated intelligence to identify trends and competitive happenings.
- Conduct error analysis of all digital Products.
- Perform ad-hoc projects, reports, and analyses as determined by senior management.
- Prepare weekly senior management reports.
- Assist in defining data requirements for key projects.
- Continuously monitor reporting effectiveness, evolve existing reports, and identify opportunities to automate and gain efficiencies in data collection and reporting where possible.
- Present data collected in an executive summary or presentation to leaders and provide insights or recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy/integrity is continuously maintained through weekly data acquisition, processing, cleaning, and auditing.
- Partner with the Product team and IT to ensure business needs are being met with well-maintained data architecture/mapping for seamless data flows.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders outside and inside the organization.
Other Functions
The successful candidate will also:
- Assist in developing junior team members across the Revenue Analytics, Pricing, and Revenue Management teams to deepen the team's collective skillset and enhance overall performance around Ecommerce and all Digital Products.
- Lead change across the organization by improving directly owned processes and taking initiative to champion cross-functional opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Ecommerce and Digital Analytics, with a proven track record of delivering value through data-driven decisions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Inclined to solve problems, own resolutions, and step up in leadership vacuums.
- Google Analytics Certifications are highly preferred.
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, GA4 preferred.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with other reporting and errors analysis tools, including Content Square, Dynatrace, and Noibu.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience setting up suggestions in these areas for others.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility regarding decision-making and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
- Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
- Knowledge of coding and design best practices is a plus.
- Experience in Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
