Role Overview
The Recovery Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. This position involves providing guidance, support, and resources to clients, helping them navigate their recovery process while fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
What You Will Do
Facilitate Peer Support Trainings, Provide Direct Peer Support, Teach & Support Life Skills, Promote Client Success & Independence, Support Coordination of Care, Uphold Professional & Ethical Standards, and Advocate for clients.

Requirements
- Must have lived experience in recovery and a strong desire to support others.
- Current PRSS (Peer Recovery Support Specialist) certification from Just 1 Life Services, relevant to what you’ll teach.
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Recent TB test
- 3 Contactable references
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Comfortable with virtual teaching tools and tech able to guide others with ease.
