About TakeIn TakeIn is a food delivery platform on a mission to make food delivery fairer — for customers and for restaurants. We launched in January 2025 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and are live in production, processing real orders daily. We're hiring across product, engineering, and operations to scale what we've built. The role You'll build our test automation from the ground up. This is a greenfield role: you'll design one automation framework covering both backend and mobile, stand up an end-to-end regression suite, and wire it into our CI/CD pipeline so quality keeps pace as we ship. You'll also stay close to the product through hands-on testing and help level up the wider QA team. What you'll do Build the automation framework from scratch — one unified setup for backend (API) and mobile Create and maintain an end-to-end regression suite that runs on every release Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline so releases stay fast and safe Take the customer app end-to-end (mobile) as your first major project Share knowledge and mentor the QA team — sessions, reviews, good practices Stay hands-on with manual testing where it matters What you bring 4–5 years in QA, with strong hands-on test automation experience Playwright (TypeScript), Appium, and Selenium Comfortable using AI tools to build and speed up automation frameworks Solid grasp of the test pyramid, Page Object Model, and CI/CD ISTQB Foundation certification Strong written and spoken English — you'll work with an internationally distributed team Nice to have Mobile testing and Agile certifications Android testing exposure (we use BrowserStack, so this is a plus, not a must) Why join Greenfield ownership: you build the framework, and you get bragging rights Real influence: mentor the team, run sessions, set the QA standard An internationally distributed team across KSA, Egypt, and beyond Notes to Applicants A few things worth knowing before you apply: Interviews are conducted in English, and over video — camera on is required. We use an AI notetaker during interviews to help us stay focused on the conversation. You'll be asked for consent before any recording begins. If you need accommodations at any point in the process, let us know in your application.
