Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner located in Wichita, KS. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, and advising patients on preventive health care. Additional duties include collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses
• Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in patient education and preventive healthcare advice
• Capability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and standards
• Advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) licensure in the state of Kansas
• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher
• Previous experience in an urgent care or similar high-paced healthcare environment is a plus
